meet Sierra

Hey there! I'm Sierra Kirsche, the hands and heart behind Sierra K. Ceramics. I aspire to bring a bit of whimsy to everyday items with the use of color and pattern. Whether it is graphic print or playful matter, my goal is to turn the mundane into something a bit more joyous.

My journey in ceramics got its nearly 10 years ago at a local Athens clay studio, Good Dirt. My mom and I took a “basics of wheel throwing” class and I have been hooked ever since. I went on to study ceramics at Georgia College & State University. Upon graduating in May of 2020, Covid was still in its peak so I spent much of my days throwing pots in the backyard. Little did I know it would lead to becoming a full-time artist… Thus, Sierra K. Ceramics was born!
